A Good Testimony

for your pastor

Scripture Reading: Psalm 40:9-10

This is a Messianic Psalm. It is quoted in the New Testament as being fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Having said that, I do think verses 9 and 10 would be a great testimony, if a true testimony, for every preacher of God’s word today.

Pray that this will be true of your pastor today and also for all men of God as they stand before their congregations to preach God’s word this Lord’s Day.

I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O LORD. I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.
