A Prayer
when we are weak
Today I want to share a prayer from Henry Wotherspoon, a 19th-century Scottish preacher. I hope you find it as helpful as I have and will make it your own.
Now, O my Father, remember how weak I am, and how many things this day brings to me, to bear and to do. I know not what an hour may bring forth, but you know. I give myself into your hands. I ask you to guide me. I pray you to spare me trial; but if I am tried, to keep me from falling.
Amen.
