A Request for Myanmar
Some of you may know that prior to 2020 I had been ministering in Myanmar (also known as Burma). There was a military coup at the beginning of 2020 that derailed our plans and we haven’t been able to work out going back since then. Nevertheless, we have been able to keep up with our contact there, though his ability to communicate has been spotty at best.
For the past four years, the Christian community there has suffered a lot. Persecution has been severe at times and uncertainty and trouble is their constant lot.
Recently, a massive earthquake added to their troubles. My pastor friend in Myanmar was spared from being at the center of that, but he know a lot of church leaders and Christians who weren’t so fortunate. He would like to take a team with him to the hardest hit city and bring relief and aid to the Christians there.
I would like to see if we can help him. He will need to pay for some travel expenses and supplies, primarily rice and clothing, to give help to those who are suffering.
If you can help with this please make a donation through this Equipping Pastors donation page. Everything given to this project will go to this project. Nothing will be spent on administration or other expenses. All of it will be given to Pastor Z in Myanmar for this planned relief effort.
