Almost Back

Early this morning I opened my eyes and wondered, “Why is that light on?” That’s when it dawned on me that our electric service had been restored. I got up and went outside and shut down the generator we were using to keep our fridge and freezer going, turned on the AC, turned of the lights, and returned to bed with gratitude in my heart to the Lord.

I had forgotten that I did have a devotional prescheduled to be sent out this morning. So, you should have received one earlier today. I’m filling in at our church this morning and next Sunday while our pastor is on vacation. I will also be helping with a funeral tomorrow in his absence.

My hope is that I will get some devotionals written and get back on a daily output quickly. I’ve got a whole notebook full of thoughts on verses I need to get fleshed out. Thanks for your patience if I still miss a day or two until I can get ahead of things.
