It Will Be Okay
Scripture Reading: Psalm 7:15-16
"He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made. His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull, his violence descends."
I sometimes find myself worrying about the wicked winning, but verses like these remind us they won’t. Sure, they might cause chaos and harm, but ultimately, their plans backfire. It’s almost like watching the villainous Wile E. Coyote who, no matter how cleverly he schemes, always ends up with an Acme anvil on his own head.
Psalm 7 gives us a glimpse of divine justice. The wicked dig pits and set traps, but they end up falling into them themselves. Their plans are destined to implode. So, we don’t have to fear—God’s justice is certain. Evil will collapse on itself.
Let’s remember, no matter what the enemy throws at us, it’s bound to backfire. With God, it will be alright.
