Knowing God

We started our conference this morning. The church is full. Mark had notebooks for the conference printed and gave each attendee one along with a new Bible. They clapped happily when they heard him say they were getting new Bibles.

I taught the first session which was an introduction to theology proper. Derrick followed with an expansion about knowing God.

The morning session concluded with my attempt at teaching on the Trinitarian nature of God. That’s a challenge while using my native language, it’s even more so while using a Malagasy translator.

We finally agreed to return to the topic during a question period.

After lunch, my session was on God the Father. Derrick continued on teaching knowing God and being known by God.

We concluded the teaching session with the question period which took us back to the Trinity and anthropomorphic language. It was a day of challenging learning for everyone.
