Long-Winded
While teaching yesterday I confessed to being capable of talking a long time. I would have said I am long-winded but I want sure how well that idiom works here. When I offered that self-critique, the pastors made a spontaneous noise. It sounded like aahmmm. I don’t know if it meant “No, it’s fine,” or. “boy you got that right!”
My point here is we are on day three and realizing we may run out of time before we run out of material. The culture here includes an expectation that YOU WILL COVER EVERYTHING IN THE NOTES TOY GAVE US!
Therefore, today are running hard through the material. Not that we are shortchanging the key points, but we are fast tracking parts of the teaching.
I’m covering God is love, grace, good, and Grace this morning. Derrick is doing the majesty of God and God as truth. So, I will have three sessions and Derrick two today.

I appreciate your “long windy-ness”. In all the years I’ve heard you teach/preach I don’t recall ever thinking, will he ever get finished? It has always been informative and obvious to me God sanctioned with your skillful explanation of the topics at hand.
Prayers for y’all as this training continues.
