Patience, Please
Scripture Reading: James 5:7-11
Patience is waiting – waiting with calm, confident faith. Patience is waiting like the farmer. He has tilled the ground and planted the seed. He has done all he can do. It is up to the Lord now. But he knows the harvest will come…in time. So, he waits.
Patience is waiting – even when it’s hard. Even when you are considered a fool for believing your day will come. Even when you have to suffer because you speak the truth and you want to be justified by the truth coming true and that is slow to come.
Patience is remaining steadfast. It isn’t giving up and/or giving in when things don’t happen the way we believe they should when we think they should.
Patience is being willing to wait a long time. Even until the coming of the Lord.
Nevertheless, be patient.
