Time to Hatch

Scripture Reading: 2 Peter 3:15-18

Growth is what we expect. It is considered an anomaly or a sign of illness or disease when growth isn’t evident in living things. Even when we reach adulthood, we assume that growth is an important part of life. We grow, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

C.S. Lewis put it like only he could:

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird. It would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary egg. We must hatch or go bad.

Hatch or go bad. Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
