Update

Thank you faithful readers of First Light. I pray often for God to use this to be a blessing and help to people in their spiritual life. On a typical day three or four people click on the link to the gospel presentation at the top of each devotional. Praise the Lord. The articles are read somewhere around 140 times a day, often by people who aren’t subscribers but with whom it was shared.

I was asked to provide a link to the daily Scripture reading within the devotional. I hope to figure that out in the next few days. If it isn’t too complicated, you should start to see that option soon.

Another feature Substack has made available is the option to have an option to have articles read aloud to you. I’m looking at making that available as well, but will need to figure out how that works and what equipment I need to get it done. Once I figure it out, if I can make it happen, there will be an option to listen to the devotional rather than read it. That would make it more accessible to people who are visually impaired or if someone just prefers listening to reading.

So, I just wanted to send out this brief update and tell you I appreciate you.

It is looking like the opportunities to get back to work overseas might be opening up again. Say a prayer for that if you don’t mind.
